“With what we established in the first movie, you can expect their bond. These individuals are connected. The same way the entire crew is connected, but Uhura and Spock have a very special relationship, that whether they are together or not remains to be seen..they will still be bonded forever.”

My Friday Reads… I’m back to Star Trek - Metamorphosis by Jean Lorrah
This is a Data centric book! This is the same author of one of my favorite ST TNG novels Survivors which did an excellent job explaining Tasha Yar’s background. By the way, why is Pulaski always a bwitch towards Data? Seriously, I really couldn’t stand her during the show and was sooo happy when Beverly Crusher came back.
I had the pleasure of being invited to talk on a podcast about the Top Black Science Fiction characters (you know it’s Black History Month, right). And by talk, I don’t mean anything academic, just a bunch of nerds shootin’ the breeze.
Anyway, if you have time give a listen.
Also subscribe to Starbase66 podcast for all your science fiction and Star Trek nerd needs.
If the audio doesn’t work, you can listen here.
Currently Reading: Star Trek The Next Generation: A Rock and a Hard Place by Peter David
Peter David might be my favorite Star Trek TNG author. His characters are always intriguing and the humor runs throughout the story. Looking forward to finding out how this all ends…
Oh yeah, did I tell you I’m on a quest to read ALL the Star Trek The Next Generation novels? I’m currently on #10… I expect to finish them all in the next, ummm, seven years (I take breaks).
